Avalon Bay Communities have been a huge project for us and Daves Lock Service! This specific location is in San Fransisco, CA and offers beautiful scenery, furnished units, a fitness center, and is also pet friendly!

At this Ocean Avenue complex, we supplied 173 residential units with the Latch eGenius interconnect hardware, readers to 28 common areas, and 4 intercom systems with video.

Just like the other Avalon Bay Community upgrades, the eGenius was installed for each unit. This hardware makes for a quick and easy exit from a building during an emergency, by utilizing a single action egress. It works in such a way that when the user presses down on the lever, the deadbolt and lever latch retract simultaneously, making the door latch open with one single action.

The Latch R Readers were install for the common areas. This combines a reader, door controller, and management system into one simple product. The device directly connects to any electrified locking mechanism in addition to motion detectors and request to exit devices.

The Latch intercom system was installed for the entrances and exits for the building. This Intercom is the gateway to LatchOS for new developments and retrofits alike. Affordable and easy to install, it delivers an all-in-one access solution. From making delivery management easier to making guest access as simple as a single tap, the Latch Intercom always lets the right people in.
